Fame is something that comes along whiles one is working hard. Many celebrities rose to fame for working assiduously over a period of time. Some people work hard to get the fame. Musicians do not only sing or rap and go to sleep. After singing or rapping, one has to do a whole tour of the music. Sometimes one has to be concentrated on the music before the music can actually make a hit. All because, one has to move from radio stations to tv stations. More so, after all that, the musician has to perform at events or mount stages to compliment the song. For people to have a feel of the music too, it has to played on tv and radio before the music can be a hit. All these activities should be performed by an individual who has time on his hand. Mohammed Ismail Sherif who is proverbially known as Kwaku Frimpong is a rapper who shot to fame whiles in UPSA. He is still a student and thrills his fans with hard core rap. He shot to fame after releasing his single titled “First Sermon”. When asked how he manages to blend the two, that’s, school and music he says if it’s time for music he does the music and if it’s time for lectures he goes to lectures. Gyakie.

Another musician who also has a hit song and also a student is Gyakie.
Jackline Acheampong who is proverbially known as Gyakie is an Afrobeats singer and an entertainer who has cemented her name in the annals of the music industry even though he is a student. She is a student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. She rose to fame after her single love is pretty became a hit song.

Yaw Tog.

The last musician who also happens to be a musician and is a student is Yaw Tog. Yaw Tog whose official name is Thorsten Owusu Gyimah is a musician who stole the heart of many music lovers whiles in school. He is currently schooling at Opoku Ware Senior High School and is in form 3, He is a rapper and does his rap style in drip music. He also shot to fame after his song “Sore” went viral and attracted the attention of the international community. It even attracted the attention of Ghanaian born, UK based rapper, Stomzy, to jump onto his song.
